What the estimate includes
DIY materials = area ÷ 1,000 × cost per 1,000 sq ft × applications. The professional side multiplies the price per application by the number of visits. Shared costs such as water or equipment are added to both, and sales tax is applied to each subtotal.
What it does not include
A professional quote may include labour, equipment, product, a guarantee, and follow-up visits. A DIY estimate may leave out your time, tools, and storage. Those differences are not captured here.
